Yeah, my parents fixed it. Well, technically my fresh-out-of-re-colleging Dad went all mad scientist on it and my mom fixed it,but still, it's fixed. And, unfortunately, it now has child blocks. I'm not kidding. Child Blocks. But my mom is pretty much miss 'Everything's cool as long as you come watch America's Funniest Home Videos with us' so it shouldn't be so bad. She's giving me a week long trial period with the child blocks, so we should be good. Unlike most people probably, I don't require to go to a million sites a day, so we've agreed on stuff. One of the better things about my mom is that she treats me like a young adult and not like those parents on TV who either completely ignore thier children (In a way that makes them feel bad about themselves) or beat the crap out of them in one way or another. Still, I'll probably be rolling around in bed, trying to think of something to write or read on the internet, so I'm pretty sure this could work out. Now if only I could figure out how to get her to send me to a psychiatrist....

It's called Ai wo Utau.... ya know, I'll just call it Blaue Rosen. Anyway, it's about this girl, Mizuki (Well, it's from her POV most of the time. ) who looks like a bishonen and is considered the ' prince' of her all-girls school. And she's in this band called Blaue Rosen ( Blue Roses in German or something) that, at the beginning, this dude who looks like a girl (Basically your usual Uke at first glance), Akira, goes to. The lead singer has to leave following this concert, and while they're trying to find a lead singer, Akira auditions, and they consider letting him into the band (Mizuki is in an all-girl-who-look-like-bishonen band) In the end of the first chapter, the old lead singer leaves and Akira moves in.... and kisses Mizuki right then and there. And throughout the rest of the series they have a cute, mostly normal relationship that gradually increases into hot make-out scenes and close-to-yaoi/hentai scenes.
I'm not normally a shonen-ai fan, but to be honest, I FREAKIN LUV THIS FREAKIN SERIES!!!! Really, it's like Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru for shonen-ai and hetero fans!! And, at least from where I sit, open-minded yuri fans.... okay, they'd have to be pretty damn open-minded,but still.
I'm gonna be frank and say it: It's technically a Hetero romance. But with Mizuki looking like your typical Seme and Akira your typical Uke, it should be a normal yaoi-type thing, right?
Wrong. Way wrong. Akira's basically two in one: Looks and acts like an Uke,but acts like the Seme when he and Mizuki are alone. I know I'm using the words 'Uke' and 'Seme' a lot,but they're really the best way I can put it. Anyway, I could compare it to two Yuri anime I can think of so that Yuri fans can follow: Strawberry Panic and Otome wa Boku ni Koshiteru (Which I know is technically a straight harem, but still!). Strawberry Panic because of Akira's and Mizuki's growing relationship (which is both hot and caring, and also seems to be the main focus of the series while being carried along by a bunch of cute little side-story plots. ) and Otome wa Boku...basically because of the crossdressing and frequent mistaking of genders and.... well, etc.
And yeah, it can get pretty Hentai-ish at times, but it's basically like one of those teen romance novels that you can't seem to put down becuase it's too interesting.... in even smaller words, I like it and I think it's damn awesome. Definitely not for kids, but a pretty good romance story for the average (most likely female) anime fan.
